What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese word meaning Universal Energy. Reiki consists of two words ‘Rei’ and ‘Ki’, ‘Rei’ meaning ‘universal’ and ‘ki’ meaning ‘energy’. So ‘Reiki’ means Universal Energy. This energy will be flowing through every one of us from our birth. Due to several reasons, the energy flow through us gets reduced causing diseases, sicknesses, inefficiency, etc., when a person undergoes Reiki initiation / attunement, the Reiki master/teacher cleanses his energy channels, thereby enhancing the energy flow through that person. Then that person becomes an effective Reiki channel. On becoming a Reiki channel, he can use the universal energy i.e., the Reiki energy to heal himself and others.
Reiki is a process of drawing universal energy from universe in us. Reiki is a positive universal energy. Every individual is born with this energy, as we grow up we collaborate with this materialistic globalized world and the level of our positive energy decreases and that time it is easy for us get affected by smallest of the smallest thing. Every human body has Aura surrounded of their physical body. One cannot see it with bear eyes. As we grow up our aura also get affected. when our aura level becomes less we come accross disease like, cold, cough, kidney problem, cancer etc. And most importantly it is easy for negative energies to attack us. They also got some power. So, here one had to do Reiki regularly to strengthen the level of Aura, and to be in positive energy. Reiki has lot of benefits, like it increases our concentration, increases memory power, activeness, peace of mind, increases our confidence level, our health improves and many more. Our body has main 7 chakras; each chakra has to do its own job. So, for a holistic health it is very important that all the chakras have to be active, and this is only possible through Reiki. Reiki is also used for healing our own self and others. There are different types of Reiki healing, like, Self Reiki healing, distant Reiki healing, chain Reiki healing, group Reiki healing. One can also give Reiki energy to house, office, trees, vehicles and animals too to protect them. Further more about Reiki and Chakras will be explained in our class.
